8 Tips for Washing Your Face Correctly
Written by glendaeldo 78
if you would like beautiful and healthy skin, cleaning of the face is essential. Below it is possible to find tips on how you can wash your face correctly.
1. Remove every trace of make-up/cosmetic on your face. Use cotton ball and moisturizing cream to avoid damaging your skin.
2. Use lukewarm water. Avoid using too hot and too cold water which will dry out your skin. This will also open the pores for deeper cleansing.
3. Avoid strong or harsh soaps/ cleansers. Strong soaps can dry the skin and strip off natural lipids. Choose soap that are mild if you favor soap, or you can always choose cleansers that are soap- free, non- comedogenic, and mild like Cetaphil, Burt Bee's or Neutrogena.
4. Massage face by gently rotating upwards your middle ring and pinky fingers. Don't forget - hard rubbing will actually do more harm than good.
5. When you've used a soap or cleanser, ensure you have washed away any residue. Not doing this can result in your pores becoming clogged, ideally you should rinse at the very least 3 times.
6. Once washed you need to pat the skin dry, don't rub your face!
7. Use an alcohol- free toner on your face. It should make your face feel smooth and refreshed. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids work the very best for toning the face. You can avoid ingrown hairs through the use of these acids as they reduce the pore size. As they are fairly agressive you will see fast results, although it really should not be photosensitive which suggests its sensitive to light.
8. The final step is to use a moistourizer, these will help to restore your natural oils which have been lost. For the best results use a product that has the smallest amount of chemicals. You do however want to only use a light moisturizer. For those who do need an intensive treatment then you should use pure vitami
E or Aloe Vera.
Those are eight simple steps that will help keep your face clean and beautiful. Start today for a more refreshed and beautiful you.
