93% of end-users prefer Vastu compliant homes: says a study

Vastu is one of the major criteria that a home buyer will be more concerned while buying a home. According to a study by the online real estate portal, 93% of home buyers prefers Vastu compliant homes. According to the survey, 4 out of 5 potential customers are meticulous about the vastu of the home, even before physically visiting the property.

When compared to other parts of the country, South-India has the highest demand for vastu compliant homes. Particularly, Chennai and Bangalore witnesses more preference for homes that are built with vastu compliant. Moreover, several end-users are willing to even take corrective measures if the property is not vastu compliant.

While buying a home, 56% of home buyers believes that the entrance of the home is considered to be the most important aspect in determining its Vastu compliance. “End-users shows their willingness to even compromise on the design in order to get a vastu compliant house and 87% agrees to forego the size of the home for Vastu, “ says the study.

When it comes to profession, the importance of vastu is witnessed high among the property buyers who are more risk prone such as entrepreneur, who showcase over 65% of Vastu compliance, compared with working professionals (30%) and small-time traders.
