Acne Free In 3 Days - Detoxification Diets
Written by Jason Popper
Detoxification diets are widely used for many skin disorders, but are they as effective as people say? One of the uses for detox diets is supposedly to reduce the amount of acne one has. The e-book "Acne Free in 3 Days" teaches you how to perform these types of diets. It essentially tells you to eat roughly ten apples and drink plenty of water for three days, and you'll become acne free. Since the body accumulates toxins in the body over time, by flushing out the toxins you can allow the body to restore itself back to normal. However, there are many reasons why the method promoted in "Acne Free in 3 Days" doesn't work.
For starters, based on the results from many acne sufferers, this method does normally help reduce acne during the three days you attempt the detoxification diet. In fact, many people have noticed that if you stop eating greasy, reprocessed foods, your acne will disappear as well. Increased water intake has always been known to be a reason for reduced acne. However, these methods must be maintained for a long-period of time to see the full results in the treatment of acne. Once you stop using the method promoted in "Acne Free in Three Days," your acne will come right back, often worse than before. These detoxification methods must be consistently used or their effects will not be permanent.
There is also much debate among scientists as to the legitimacy of these detoxification diets, since there is absolutely no scientific proof any of this actually works. There is much speculation as to what they actually do, but nobody knows for sure what detox diets actually do and if they work. But, if you expect it to help treat your skin disorders, you will need something that works long-term instead of a short-term "miracle" acne treatment that doesn't produce results.
