Imagine the day when you shine bright as a star. Deep down inside, you have a knowing of this. It is a feeling that propels you to keep trying—to sing better, paint better, dance better,
write better, sound better, and play that role better. It’s an addiction of sorts. You’d almost sacrifice your soul to realize this inner phenomenon, wouldn’t you?

In the mega-cities of LA and NY, thousands of heart-driven people take to the streets to learn how to get ahead in the performing arts. Each day hundreds more join in this pursuit, each desperately hoping to score some attention, recognition, and be accepted at the audition. The odds are frightening: about one out of 2,000 candidates are chosen,if you are lucky. Last year, approximately 500 movies were produced, many of which had
difficulty getting to the big screens. When you consider that most employ about 5 primary actors, this leaves you with the startling fact that only 2,500 people make up the core acting population that’s utilized, most of whom have good agents and a proven track record. What do you have to do to become part of your respective group, whether in the arts, theater, music, acting or dance?

What makes you different? Special? Unique? Obviously, you can feel it, or you wouldn’t be involved in the first place. But, do you understand this feeling, this urge, this gift? To become a
star means doing your utmost best, and constantly demonstrating your gifts. Being recognized for your talents starts first with yourself. It means that you’ve moved into a higher realm of existence in your given field. This gift of yours portrays your specialty, your uniqueness, and actually, the real you. That’s what it’s all about, anyway, presenting the real you in front of others. Not many people can do this. That is why we have heroes, celebrities, gold medalists, and stars. You exemplify the hopes and dreams for and of others.

Before your outer star shines, your inner star must shine. When it does, you feel grounded and unique. You feel great about your persona and accelerate your competencies to perform. And above all, you radiate the love for creating and performing your gifts that you alone possess. That’s what makes others desire your presence and talents. You have something they want. You fulfill their need, so to speak. And this is all done with honor and respect. The star in you brightens every time you honor it.

Life in the performing arts empowers itself when you claim the gifts of your uniqueness, self-love,and trusting this as truth. Your gift must be sustained by your trust in yourself. You possess no other force greater than trust. Trust carries Divine
Powers free of outcome, free of doubt, and free of fear.

Many children entering the performing arts are intrinsically motivated. They love learning and showing off their stuff. Social pressure has been initiated, but it’s the parents behind the scene doing most of the supportive leg work, from chauffeuring to making costumes, and from impromptu counseling to buying the recital tickets. It’s actually a safe bet. But as you move through your late teens and early adulthood into reality, you are on your own. Each step requires your focus, your money,
your time, and your guts, so to speak. Your parental support system dwindles. You either talk your talk and walk your walk, or else, your talk walks.

Despite much of the hard work you’ve studied for up to this point, without trust and love for your uniqueness, this can easily turn into naught. Invariably, most of candidates within the performing arts have had very little exposure to learn the inner skills that bring all things together. It’s the inner that makes the outer. Life doesn’t work any other way, even if successful, that will eventually disintegrate.

Success does not exist in the goal. Success exists in the process. Life is not down the street—it is not an expectation. Life reflects itself in the moment—expressing itself, regardless of outcome. These are the real qualities that move you forward. The energy within surges you forward, opens your heart, and lets all your creative energies manifest brighter horizons. Yes, there are always ups and downs, but the trend is always upwards. It all begins when you open your heart and become receptive to the fact that your body actually is your true messenger—your Spirit Child
Within. This inner aspect of yourself must get activated.

Once activated, your body starts to communicate with you, as it once did when you were a child. Remember how great it was to imagine things? How imagination let you go anywhere you desired? How easy it was to change the world to fit your whims, your fantasies, your creative pursuits? Unfortunately, you became an adult with a lot of obligations and responsibilities. Your imagination was curtailed, buried, and for many, even abandoned. But your Spirit Child Within can bring imagination back for you to use in your daily life. Imagine feeling joyful day after day, feeling peaceful and free, trusting yourself every moment, knowing you are at the right place at the right time. Imagine the good and beautiful beckoning at your feet and in front of your eyes. Imagine!

It is time to break loose of the inner blockages that prohibit you from hearing what your Spirit Child Within has to say. It’s time to accelerate in life and enjoy the process of your uniqueness unfolding. It’s time to reap and evolve into greater manifestations. Your Innocence or Spirit Child connects your mind-body-soul. It’s a trilogy of Life Sustaining Forces that routinely generates higher vibrational frequencies of intuition,
perception, and confidence.

The process becomes quite automatic and consistent. Your physical, psychological, and social well-being cleanses and brightens itself. The Spirit Child functions as a process, which ultimately serves as the goal. Goals are forever being replaced, but the process of your self-empowerment evolves ceaselessly in absolute rhythm. This modus operandi,if you will, is what others see in you. A charismatic flare of life, holding your gift, which no other person on Earth can present. Maybe that’s why God gave you your own face—to see only you.
