Seize The Day
Today Is The Day

Today is another fine day in which to excel. One of my college accounting professors would start every class with that statement. I must admit, the first time I heard him say it, I did not take him very seriously. I have since come to see the wisdom in his words.

No matter who you are and no matter the circumstances of your life, I truly feel each and every day holds the promise of virtually unlimited opportunity and possibility. My goal is to help you recognize and then seize these opportunities and possibilities. Others have done it and so will you.

How Do You Use Your Time

Have you ever sat down and analyzed the numerous actions you take each day? Think for a moment about what you have done today.

Was your time used wisely?

__ YES __ NO

Did your actions further your purpose in life?

__ YES __ NO

Your Purpose In Life

Think about where you are in your life.

Do you know what your purpose in life is?

__ YES __ NO

Do you know why you are on this earth?

__ YES __ NO

These are questions that deserve answers. My goal is to help you answer these questions.

My Answer To Those Questions

When I asked myself these tough questions, and then answered them, I came to the following, simple conclusion:

My purpose in life is to help others find their purpose in life and achieve it.

I first realized, over ten years ago, that all of my life's actions, both professionally and personally, have directly and indirectly, intentionally and unintentionally, been directed toward that purpose. This article (and all the others on SelfGrowth.com and my blog seize today's opportunity to fulfill my purpose in life and to help you, the reader, at the same time.

Now it is your turn to seize the day. It is your turn to find (or refine) your purpose in life and to achieve it. This book is structured, not to suggest any given purpose to the reader, but to expand your horizons while you search for or refine your purpose in life. Your opportunities and possibilities are virtually unlimited. There is no limit to what you can achieve.

I suggest the following to you: Do something excellently today!

Take the next 5 minutes and think of at least 3 things you can do excellently today.
