In the last part of this series we discussed the first four traits of what it takes to discover happiness and success in your life. The traits of clarity, desire, advancement of knowledge, and faith are the extremely important first steps for realizing the fruition of your dreams. In this part we will discuss four more traits that will help you realize how to discover happiness and success in your life. Much of what we will discuss is about success. What you need to understand is that happiness comes from following your heart, and hopefully, what you call success is what will help you realize happiness. Success can be anything, and it is much more than money. Often times it is wrapped around money, but wealth has little to do with monotary things. Wealth and success is about being the best you can in any field be it love, money, sports, or anything else you devote yourself to. Happiness is a state of being, and that being is up to you to decide. I can only help you find the pieces to realize happiness, not how to get it for yourself. So, with that said, let's move on to the next three steps.

The next step after working on your advancement of knowledge is imagination. Your ability to have a vision and use creativity to accomplish your goals will be in direct relation to your success. Vision is the ability to see what it is you want and what needs to be done to get there. Creativity is the force that creates the solutions to accomplish whatever your vision is. So your vision would be the same as knowing where you want to go on vacation. Creativity would be the map to get there as well as the ability to see all the possible paths and roadways to get to your destination as well as the ability to adapt if one path doesn't work and another one is needed.

The sixth trait that you need to work on is self talk. This is called positive affirmations in some circles, auto-suggestion in others, and a million other things. I don't care if you call it Fred. What this is all about is your ability to speak properly about what you want in the present tense as well as your ability to believe what you say and truly feel within yourself that what you want is right here right now as you speak about it. This is an area of science that you could spend your entire life working on and still not learn any where near all there is to know about it. Our words are a direct reflection of our inner thoughts and feelings and we must use our words to serve our needs. This topic will not be covered in any more detail. If you wish to learn more about this topic, please refer to my article titled "Until Then? What About The Power Of Now." This article goes into more detail about how we use our words and how we should use our words. You can also read my article "The Phases Of Manifestation Part 3. Words And Expression."

The seventh trait that you need to develop is decision. Most people get caught up in this or that, or they freeze at the learning phase of things. In order to be successful, one must be able to make a decision in an instant and go with it. There is always time in the future to adapt if you realize that you are not on the right path. There are times when you can take your time to come to a decision, but there are also times when a decision needs to be made now. Decisiveness is an important trait of a leader. You must be able to make a decision and take action on that decision. Not tomorrow, not the day after, do not hesitate, but act and act now. Most people who never realize happiness or success are also people who are unable to make a decision or take action on that decision. You want to be successful, so develop the ability to decide, and to take action. More people find success from this one ability and their desire to have what they want than from anything else.

The eighth trait for success and happiness is the company you keep. Most people never realize happiness and success because of the people they surround themselves with. This can be one of the hardest traits to make a decision about because we associate with people we care about. We love the people around us from friends to family. The real question that must be asked at this point is whether or not you truly want what you say you want. If you do, then you need to ask whether or not the people you surround yourself with are going to help you get there or not. If you can't honestly, 100% say yes they will, then you may need to evaluate the people you associate with. You also need to find people who are where you want to go or are well on their way there and associate with them. As the old saying goes, birds of a feather flock together, and it is absolutely true. If you hang with the turkeys you will never fly with the eagles.

In the next part of this series we will take a look at what it takes to develop clarity and desire. The following parts of this series will go into the other six traits as well as how to develop them and bring them into your every day life so that they can become a part of who you are and how you function. Only after they are a normal part of your daily life will you begin to realize results happening at amazing rates. You have the power and potential within you to realize and create anything you want in this life. It is a very simple process, though not always easy. With time and effort on your part, there will be nothing out of your reach. Life truly is a magical experience, if you take the time to learn the magic and use it. It truly is worth the time and effort.
