Do you find yourself always giving in to temptation? Here is some key healthy eating diet advice that everyone should know about.

Avoiding temptation doesn’t have to be such a struggle. It’s hard not to be tempted sometimes, and when you’re on a diet it all seems to be magnified. Avoiding temptation becomes really hard when everywhere you turn you see:

  • The media bombarding us with images of food and drink
  • Co-workers seemingly flaunting treats in front of us
  • Fast food restaurants on every corner
  • Family members eating foods that we know we shouldn’t eat

But does it have to be that way? What if instead of avoiding temptation, we could look it squarely in the eye and say, “No thanks!” Think how good that would feel.

Of course, that’s easier said than done, especially if you are fighting the battle alone. But what if you had someone who could help you, someone who understood what you’re feeling, and could provide solutions for all those difficult moments? And what if that someone could help you to lose weight for free?

If you want to avoid temptation permanently, try my FREE Weight Loss Motivation Program In addition to healthy eating diet advice, you also need to learn essential new habits and attitudes, to make your weight loss permanent.

Healthy Eating Diet Advice #1 - Stop eating out all the time!

A study conducted in Massachusetts followed 500 adults over the course of a year. The people who were the most overweight were those individuals who ate out the most frequently!

Studies show that meals eaten out are almost always higher in total calories, fat calories, and lower in protein and fiber (the twin ingredients needed to turn off appetite!)

Be careful of Family members eating foods that we know we shouldn’t eat:

This is a big problem for many dieters, especially moms who have to prepare food for the rest of the family. But there’s a bigger question here – if what the other members of your family are eating is unhealthy, should they be eating it? If you are tempted every time your kids eat chips or drink sodas, stop buying them! Rather than torturing yourself watching them eat junk, use your dieting as a way to improve their health.

Healthy Eating Diet Advice #2 – Avoid Co-workers who Eat Unhealthy:

This can be a problem for anyone who works in an office or similar environment where people eat at their desks. How do you stay healthy when others around you are chowing down on junk? There are a couple of tactics that can help.

Healthy Eating Diet Advice #3 – Always prepare!

Make sure you always have a supply of healthy snacks with you at work. Unsalted nuts, fruit (fresh or dried), or crudités (carrot sticks, celery etc) make good choices and are easy to keep at your desk. That way, when you are tempted, you have something healthy to munch on.

The other thing to do is not put yourself in difficult situations – if you know a certain person always has chocolates on their desk, avoid them. If there’s a group who always go to lunch at a fast food joint, either suggest a different location, or find a new lunch crew.

By avoiding your exposure to tempting foods and situations, and learning how to change the thoughts, habits and attitudes that undermine you, you can lose weight for free.

Last but not least, don’t EVER keep junk food in your house if you want to lose weight. You might as well throw your diet right out the window, as you will be teasing yourself constantly, and defeating your efforts.
