A bit about Lemongrass…(Cymbopogon citratus)

Used traditionally in Indian medicine for centuries for reducing fevers and aiding the immune system to fight infections. Can also be stimulating and invigorating for exhaustion or tired nerves. Researchers have found that Lemongrass essential oil exhibits anti-depressant, anti-oxidant, antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal, fungicidal, nervine and sedative properties. Good for oily prone skin, adds shine to lackluster hair and beneficial for muscular aches and pains and headaches. Found to be a powerful antifungal, as well as an insect repellent. Safety: A skin irritant when used neat on the skin. Use in low dilutions only.
