You pump iron. You have a great body. You love the gym . . . in fact you spend more time there than at home. But its not all you, you, you.

Wouldn't you like to see other people get as much out of exercise as you do? You know that what matters most is in your head and in your heart. Are you ready to share that with others? If you would like to make a career out of the time that you spend in the gym and watch others grown then read on . . .

As a personal trainer you can have the pleasure of helping other people meet their fitness goals, improve their lives and have a fulfilling career, and spend all the time that you want at the gym.

THE IDEAL PERSONAL TRAINER

1. Is motivated and wants to motivate others.
2. Understands the human body and how to get the most out of it.
3. Loves (lives) to work out.
4. Realizes that nothing is more important than what clients learn and do.
5. Knows what to eat, when to eat it, and does it.
6. Is ethical and will not take advantage of others.
7. Has a HS diploma or more education.
8. Is motivated to learn more and will find the time to do it.

Does that sound like you? If so then why not consider a career as a Personal Trainer. But first, what does a personal trainer do really do? If I had to hire a new personal trainer the job description would look somethink like:

1. Help your clients select an appropriate goal weight and fitness level.
2. Develop a weekly exercise program that will fit into their lifestyle.
3. Teach your client proper exercise techniques and supervise their exercise activities.
4. Help your clients develop menus and supplement programs incorporating proper nutritional habits.
5. Provide helpful survival tips related to your client's habits and lifestyle.
6. Give your client clear explanations for the recommendations you give them.
7. Keep your client motivated and track progress.

Does that still sound like fun? As a Personal Trainer you will enjoy the same benefits that your clients enjoy. The results of proper exercise, good nutrition and the positive feelings that come for setting and achieving goals. And one other benefit, the joy that comes from helping others.
