There are many aspects to success and progress in life, but there is a common pattern of thought that robs many of what they really want for happiness and fulfillment and it is true for you if you are unhappy with your life.

You are living in self-deception.

You are not facing the reality of what you are and stand for. Certainly you want to be happy and have the success in life that you envision, but that takes effort and very often it is far more effort than you realize or are willing to put forth.

It is so easy to fall back and only pose the easy questions of yourself. The things that you already know the answers to or the patterns that are easy to develop and maintain. It will always be better in your thoughts to follow the easy path that doesn't require any strong commitment or discomfort to follow through on.

What you really want in life usually requires strong goal patterns and consistent and constant effort beyond your current comfort zone to attain. In fact, your comfort zone is the pool of pleasure and comfort that you float in every day. You rarely venture out into the world of struggle and effort without wanting to run back to your comfortable pool of detachment and security.

You are just getting through life day by day avoiding all of the painful and taxing moments that you can all the while thinking and exclaiming how difficult and uncomfortable the living process is for you. However, you find that the watered down efforts produce mediocre results at best and then you turn the reasoning into a hunt for someone or something else that has delayed or distracted you from success.

There is no someone or something else. It is the thoughts you have, decisions you make and the results you get that define where you are right now in life. The path you have taken is a series of choices you have made that seemed fine at the time, but ultimately they have led you here, now.

You can stop. You can stop right now, instantly and start to get much better results in life, but that will require you to start asking and answering the difficult questions of yourself.

What do I really want out of my entire life?
What do I need to do to have this life?

What am I willing to do to have this life?
What am I accepting of right now?
What am I willing to change?

Change is the answer. You must change the patterns and thoughts that you are currently accepting of and redefine the way you see yourself and the world around you. Take a good look at who you are right now. This is how the world sees you and society responds to you based on the image you provide to them of who and what you are. How would you respond to someone who looks and acts like you right now at this moment?

You cannot afford to hide behind a curtain of self-denial and self-deception. Children do that when they are very young. They feel that ( it is not fair ) when their own decisions have placed them in the position of discomfort. You should have grown out of these thoughts as you matured into adulthood.

Stop deceiving yourself and accept that you must improve in order for the results you get in your living experience to improve. You cannot push a magic easy button and others will not do it for you. You do not have to wait for something else to happen as a signal that you will begin to take control of your life and start living to the fullest.

The moments are slowly, constantly ticking by and you are standing there motionless watching your life moments erode into the fog of the past and memory. You are not creating the quality that you should have and desire from life and you cannot go back and change the moments that have already pasted.

Face the actuality of who and what you are not some fantasy reality that you have created in your mind. Look around you at the results you are getting. They are so easy to change and yet you don't make the mental and emotional commitment to make your life a wonderful experience.

Make that need to be the very best that you can be an absolute focus each and every moment that you are alive and breathing. Your life will explode with more excitement and happiness than you ever dreamed possible. It has always been right there at your fingertips and you simply chose to accept what you had at that moment.

The only moments of life you are guaranteed, that even constitute reality are the moments you are experiencing right now. Get up and make them become the things you dream of.
