If it's the dominating thoughts of your mind that determine, through the mind-environment connection, the results that you get in your life, then one aspect of that result must be the superior functioning of your body. Yes, of your body, too.

We talk so much about the mind. But what does it take to have a healthy body? Well, I'm going to give you some opinions here. I'm not an expert, not an M.D., and it's not even my area of expertise—so I'm not going to go deep into specifics.

But I'm telling you, it's all about the common sense things that we don't all always do, like getting enough good, quality rest. If there's something that needs to be done, tend to it. Now, that doesn't mean that you have to do it every single night, or that you can't pull a late one; no, it means you need to make getting adequate rest a habit, a lifestyle.

Getting adequate recreation—you've got to have time off, time away.

Having adequate love—which we call the relationship factor. And it's all kinds of love. It's agape love, it's physical love, it's love of children and adults and love of grandparents, and love of everything and love of the Earth. It's being appreciative, having an attitude of gratitude.

It's eating properly, making good healthy choices. A body that's being fed on fried foods and fat all the time is just not going to operate optimally.

Think of yourself as a Ferrari. Think of yourself as a Jaguar. You wouldn't put siphoned-out gas from the oilfield that hadn't been processed, refined, and powered into a car like that. You should think of your body the same way. You need to have nutritional supplements, too.

You need to have meaningful work – a work in which you not only super-adequately provide for the current and future needs of yourself and your family, but one in which you feel you are contributing to the world – because any way you cut it – the majority of our waking hours are centered around work… Choose well!

You need to have all of these things—adequate rest, hobbies, love, recreation, good nutrition, meaningful work. You need to take time to meditate. Avoid excess in everything.

Simple stuff; simple message. Always think that you want to have a superior functioning body, and you'll make the right choice!
