Chef Frank Tujague of the Westin New York hotel offers the white truffle bagel until December 14 (when season ends). This $1,000 bagel is topped with white truffle cream cheese and goji berry infused Riesling jelly with golden leaves. nnLatkes nOutside of Israel, the largest Jewish community is centered in this city, so it goes without saying that Hanukkah is widely celebrated here. Fried foods such as latkes (potato pancakes) are eaten during this holiday to commemorate the miracle of the oil. Visit the 60-year old, hole-in-the-wall B&H Dairy on the Lower East Side where the food is to die for. nnEggnog Ice CreamnEggnog is disgusting to most people, but when made right, it can actually taste good. At WD-50, American chef Wylie Dufresne, who is known for his experimental recipes, serves eggnog ice cream with caviar and pumpernickel croutons. The menu also includes rack of lamb with candy-cane crust and goat-cheese panna cotta with bacon syrup and cashews. nnA Treats Truck Named Sugar nThe mobile Treats Truck offers delectable treats on their menu including caramel crème sandwich cookies and Mexican chocolate brownies.
