My intention in my own life has been to move out of victimhood and into Mastery and through my work to help others to do the same. But before we can claim Mastery we must define it. It’s important to have a clear idea of what we are moving toward so that we may recognize it when we arrive.

Mastery is knowing that my peace of mind is not dependant on my children’s or co-workers moods or behaviors, or the amount of traffic I encounter. My peace of mind is not affected by the rudeness of my waitress. It is not even affected by the amount of money have. It is a clear knowing and understanding that my peace of mind comes from within and is a direct result of my thoughts. I am the only one who can think my thoughts; therefore I am the Master of my thoughts. And as the Master my thoughts I Master my emotions because my emotions are simply a chemical reaction in my body to my thoughts. My emotions become imprinted on my subconscious mind and in turn create my outward experiences.

So now we have come full circle. Because I have imprinted my subconscious mind with emotions which create my outward experience then that means the moods and behavior of my children or co-workers are a direct result of my thoughts!

Ahhhh, Mastery.

Here is an illustration:

Thoughts = Emotions = Subconscious Programming = Physical Experience = Thoughts

It’s a cycle because it begins and ends with thoughts. So to break the cycle you must not react to your physical experience. You must remember that every physical experience is a result of your thoughts even as you are having the experience and do not allow yourself to become emotionally charged by it. If you do become emotionally charged you can release the emotions with EFT. It’s important to do this because each time you experience an emotion you are re-imprinting your subconscious mind with the experience that you have become emotionally charged by.

So your first step in Mastery is to become aware of your emotions and the thoughts that preceded them.

Mastery is knowing that you are the creator of every experience. Mastery is NOT, however, blaming yourself or even asking why you would create such an experience.
All of our experiences are a product of programming, mostly childhood programming. Your first order of business is just to know it is programming and just like a computer a program can be removed and replaced.
