By birth moles may or may not be hereditary and can be best treated by a family physician for a possible solution. Moles are not harmful but may bring down your face value.

Moles are found in different sizes and different types. They may be as small as a pin head and may be as large as a nail head and in some cases even larger. Smaller moles may be like the size of a needle end, while the larger ones may be noticeable even from a distance. Curing the mole problem also varies with the kind of mole that you have on your body. Although moles are the domain of a dermatologist, a family physician may guide you well in case of hereditary moles. Usually people consider birth marks, some injuries marks or other such scars as moles, whereas this is not actually the case. Trying to treat other body marks as moles may put you in trouble. Mole treatment medicines can easily be obtained from anywhere in market. Some people resort to self medication in solving this problem while others seek expert medical opinion which is often recommended. Conventional home made remedies generally do not work on moles and they are usually resolved through allopathic treatments. Herbal medicines are more popular with people, since they do not pose serious side effects.

Affected area is generally treated through surgery. A mole surgery includes excision and then grafting. Skin scars are common follow up of surgery. Usually the scars are for a week or so and disappear at their own, but in some cases, they may remain permanently. Other mole removing method through surgery may not involve grafting or stitching the skin and would most likely be left to heal automatically. High precision in removal of moles in such cases is prerequisite. Surgical treatment may lead to anesthetic after effects. Laser treatment of moles has not achieved much success due to the side effects. Laser treatment of moles is particularly unsuccessful with moles of a deeper kind and larger size. Unlike a surgical treatment, a laser treatment needs more than one session and the costs varying from mere fifty dollars to some four to five hundred dollars. Answer to your question of how to get rid of skin mole, can only come up after detailed analysis of your skin type.
