A Life Lived in Country Pubs in Lancashire
Written by Lewis carroll
It's always good to be back to Lancashire, a place I can easily identify with. If you have been to Lancashire, you know what I am talking about; it's a place with stunning natural beauty and innumerable historic attractions. But, what I love the most about this wonderful place is its pubs; rich in culture and full of amazing food stuffs and drinks. You get the best of both the worlds here; the yummy regional food items and some of the best wines and beers to drink. What more one can wish for?
Though there are numerous country pubs in Lancashire, but, then, you have to find that one pub for you. It's like finding a life partner, when numerous beautiful girls are out there. Hope you getting my point! I love myself when I am in any of my favourite pubs and find myself sinking my teeth in one of their regional food stuffs. Hot Pot is something that you shouldn't miss out. It's a fabulous dish which happens to be a traditional one as well as a very slow cooked dish. Just ensure that you get it from a good restaurant or eating joint.
If you are planning to go to Lancashire sometime soon, let me tell you that you should better book your accommodation first. Though there is no dearth of hotels and restaurants here, it's always great to have your space booked, right? I am telling you this because I had made that mistake and later on, paid heavily for that. So, you better not repeat this. Once here, there are so many things to do and see here; you would simply love your stay here.
I've spent some of my best years of my life here, in country Pubs Lancashire. And, I've some great memories of that time, with me. Now, if you happen to be a traveler, make sure you come to Lancashire and see it at its full glory. There are so many things to do and see that you would never feel bored here. You can take my words for this.
Pubs have always been an integral part of the history of Lancashire, and they will always be (at least, as long as people are alive). They are not just the places for eating food and drinking wines, they are much more; they are the places where you can meet the locals, get into the conversation, and find out what has changed and what is changing.
Come to 'The Clog and Billy Cock' and order from a spectacular line up of dishes, created by winning chef, Nigel Haworth. Think country pubs in Lancashire, think The Clog!
