Hello there! My name is Joseph and I wanted to share my unique insight on trying several different types of CBD products, and what I used them for. After that, I will list out my favorite products and what did/didn't work for me. There are a lot of articles out there that talk about the benefits of CBD but very few that share a unique perspective from an actual user. Most of the time it's some guy in a lab coat explaining the efficacy and percentages of cannabinoids. Other times, it's a would-be stoner or Millenial raging on about how the products didn't get them high. None of which is particularly informative to me(and probably not for you either).

First things first, I am a mid 30's American man with a corporate job and like to travel in my free time. I enjoy socializing and do occasionally consume cannabis products at times but I'm a tad introverted so a little bit of "people time" goes a long way for me. I love being outdoors and taking my Australian Shepard Max for walks in the park or at the beach. With a bit about me and where I come from out of the way, let's dive into the details of what I tried, why, and how things faired. Cool? Ok, let's jump on in...

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph I am quite the introvert and socializing causes me a great deal of anxiety so I decided to try CBD Oil to ease some of that stress. I won't name the brand but I went with a very reputable one because I read a lot of reviews about how some companies falsely claim their lab reporting numbers and benefits. The oil went under my tongue and had a very... wait for it... oily taste (I got the "Natural" unflavored one). The directions said to hold it there for 60 seconds (sublingually) and then swallow. After about 25-30 minutes, I can say I started to feel less tense in my hands, shoulders and mid-back. I felt more relaxed than usual and decided to have a guys night on the town. I felt loose, free-spirited, and like normal self but with a bit more clarity and willingness to listen. I'm not sure if this is all from the CBD itself but I have to say, I've not felt anything like it with any other substance. The CBD Oil was indeed a winner in my book!

Next I tried a CBD Topical from another top retailer in the CBD space. The ointment was touted to have benefits of relieving sore/achy muscles. I ride 10-15 miles on my road bike per day and although this activity is not high-impact on the joints, I find that my knees do feel a bit "worn down" the day after. So I applied the ointment to the palm of my hands and then rubbed it into my sore knees after a 12-mile ride. It had a menthol scent that was quite pleasant and soothing, in an aromatic way. As far as feeling the results the next day, I would have to say it was a tad subpar compared to my expectations. If I had to rate the level of improvement from using this vs not using, I would say my knees felt about 15% better. Nothing drastic but it did "kinda" tone down the pain a bit. The ointment was quite expensive, $85 for a pump dispenser that is about the size of a round deodorant stick. For me, the cost/benefit of this one was a bit of a wash so I am doubtful to use this again.

Last but not least, I tried a CBD Vape Pen. Boy was this thing cool! It came in an orange flavor and the pen itself was pretty tiny and inconspicuous. It fits nicely in my jean's front pocket and is all black so it just looks like a regular writing pen with the top on it. The flavor was light and didn't produce a huge smoke cloud like you see with some vapes (which I'm not a fan of). This had very similar effects to the CBD oil I mentioned previously yet the effects came on for me much quicker (within 10 minutes). I just love how easy it is to use; there are no buttons or anything... you just bring it to your lips, inhale and exhale and that's it!

Of the 3 products I tried, I liked the vape pen the best. In second place was the CBD Oil Tincture and last was the topical.

In conclusion, I have to say... 2 out of 3 ain't bad! (so cliche, I know lol). I would recommend you try them for yourself and see how they work for you. They can be found in many retailers in town and also online.

Have fun and enjoy!
