If you are new to the world of
passive or residual income on the web, you are not alone. Due to the current economy, many people are turning to the internet to try to make some
extra cash. And, also due to the economy, many of these people do not have very much, if any money to invest.
So, where do we start? Let’s start with the one thing that stops many people from even attempting anything. Many people are afraid of being scammed, and rightfully so. There are many scammers out there trying to get at your hard earned cash. But there are three things you can do to protect yourself when considering a residual income program. Research, Research, and Research. Yes, I kind of borrowed that line from the Real Estate industry’s “Location, Location, Location,” but it is nonetheless very true. There are many forums on the web dedicated specifically to helping people avoid scams. It is a good idea to make use of them.
But to start off, you need something
that fits within your budget. There are many programs on the internet today that can make sizable income for you, but need a somewhat large investment. And many people turn to internet because they really have no money to spend.
So look for something that is low cost or
free to start off with. You can invest in the more expensive programs, after you have a little more money. It is not a competition. Just because you get into one program, doesn’t mean that you cannot get into another one later. As a matter of fact, many people who are successful at setting up one
residual income often set up more. This can
increase your income exponentially.
One very important thing to look for, especially if this is your first time, is a good,
live support system. You should be able to call or email someone if you have a problem or a question.
Free telephone support is certainly a bonus as well.
Another need for newcomers is a good,
live training system. Webinar software is becoming increasingly popular because you can actually see the other persons computer screen, or “desktop.” This makes it possible to actually show people on the other side of the world, what you are doing on your computer. And we learn better by being shown what to do, as opposed to just being told.
Don’t worry. Usually, even the pay webinar services only need the host to pay for the program. This means that this too can be free to you.
With these three elements, and some devotion on your part, you should be successful. But keep in mind that all programs require some work, and if you won’t work for your business, your business won’t work for you.
