A quick blog post about our recent relocation to a Glasgow office.
Written by Emilee Jaden
When I began my own business my workforce was very small and I would never have known we would be the size we are today. Every successful business has a strong workforce behind it.If you did not have this in a business then you will not achieve as much as you could of with a happier more positive work force. That is why it is essential to have a happy work force at all times.
When a business is successful it expands and our quaint one room office just wasnt big enough anymore, so we decided to move to a larger more spacious commercial property which would for fill all of our needs as our current office is more of a hindrance than a help.
Finding the perfect office which was suitable for your business but yet big enough for your workforce But thankfully we had help from the team at www.yourcityoffice.com.
Location,Location,Location is always very important when looking for a new office. Our company needed to be based within the city centre for a variety of reasons such as transport links and other services such a post offices and banks. Employees will have less trouble commuting into work as well as potential clients and associates. Of course, every office wants a nice location within a building that isn't falling apart and within a safe environment.
I always made sure that my employees were involved in the process of relocating our working premisses. We would have discussions about potential locations and they would give me advice on where to look as an unhappy work force is not useful. Its always best to take into account the needs of your employees such as is there ramp access in the new building as well as safe security systems. I also gave them as much notice as possible about the move so that they could prepare making the process quicker.
My advice for anyone moving office would be to make sure you set out a moving agenda. Make sure you have a trusted, hard working removal team ready, you might also need storage too, as well as your internet and broadband supplier. The sooner everything is up and running like clockwork the faster your staff can settle in and start work, a break in business will result in a loss of money.
Always pursue professional advice when leasing office space or buildings. Lawyers can help with the process and proved to be very successful with our move. However www.yourcityoffice.com proved to be the biggest help, finding numerous perfect locations and even competitively priced Glasgow Office Space They even helped with the moving process!
Once you have found your perfect office suite which is suitable for the size of your business, as well as all of your staff and equipment, you can begin to then start the moving process which can be stressful but well worth it in the end seeing your business flourish! I used a checklist which helped me from forgetting anything too important. If you have a team of happy employees too they are more eager to help with the move!
Now that we are all set up and working together within our new office, we have become very settled and content. A good office improves staff spirit and creates a positive work environment.

Why Some Buildings Just Feel Safer—And What’s Behind It
Sometimes, it’s not what you see, but what you feel. Ever notice how some buildings just feel solid? No creeping unease. No instinct telling you to check for the nearest exit. Just a quiet, unshakable sense that you’re in a place built to protect. That feeling isn’t random. It’s the result of smart choices—ones made long before anyone steps inside. The materials, the design, the way everything is built to handle the unexpected, even factors like fire ratings that determine
