“A True Story of a Prophetic Dream”

“Dreams are Powerful — Dreams Try to Awaken Us to What’s Going On”

A friend had a dream and in this dream was talking about future events that were to take place. A prophetic dream that could be heeded or cast off as not important.

A friend woke up one morning and wrote down his dream. His dream was all about a man who was deliberately trapped underground and could not escape. Until one day a group of people started digging and he was liberated. And the man said “I’m Angry” and someone nearby said— “Forgive, Forget, and Move On with Life”.

And it’s very interesting that two days later the man who had the dream got extremely angry with his mother and had a huge argument. For you see his mother and him had been fighting for years ever since his father died 30 years ago. He was angry at his mother because his father died so very young and he missed his father. Thus there was nothing his mother could do because he was angry at someone who was already dead. Thus the son did not communicate with is mother other than 2 or 3 times a year on the phone during holidays.

For you see the prophetic dream was all about the young man forgiving his mother and father and forgetting anything that had every happened and moving on with his life. For you see the young man’s life had been stuck for 30 years, and that’s exactly the same amount of time since his father passed away. So his dream had relevance— because the dream was trying to wake him up to the fact that he needed to forgive and let go of all the craziness of the past thus his life would get better.

Over the past 30 years the young man had totally forgotten about taking care of himself, he had diabetes, he had high cholesterol, and he never exercised— all he did was work and take care of his kids. And it’s funny because his father did exactly the same thing, he worked himself to death, took care of his kids and family, and never took care of himself.

Thus the cycle continues with the son being exactly like his father. But if the son were to forgive, forget, and move on with life everything would change.

But that’s a big “If” that remains to be seen.

Remember dreams are powerful, dreams are sent to us from God, the Universe, and Great Spirit to awaken us from the dream we live in.
