YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER

Happy New Day! You have overcome and are still here to face a new day with all of its good, bad, and ugly by the grace of God, who is faithful and true to His word:
(Romans 8:36-37) As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.(John 16:33) "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

As the song says, "Because He lives (Jesus) we can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone, because we know who holds our future life is worth the living because our Savior lives". Regardless of what obstacles, trials, or ailments present themselves, we can respond (not react) to them in peace, trusting that God is with us protecting, guiding, and teaching us on our journey through life. It is not in the reaching of the ultimate destination that will please God, it is how we get there. It will be in faithfully living a life of trust, integrity, love and forgiveness, cultivating and expressing the fruits of the Spirit along the way.

Each day that God wakes us up in our right minds with a reasonable portion of good health, we have been granted a new opportunity to live a fulfilling purposeful life and be a blessing to someone else in the process.

May you be blessed by the following poem from page 8 of my book, On Solid Ground.…:

BE ENCOURAGED

Be strengthened through your struggles and allow grace to ease the pain.
Don't despair in situations, your perseverance is not in vain.
The good work that God's begun in you will be completed unto the end.
Be encouraged throughout the journey and let Christ become your closest friend.

Study God's word and stand on His promises, they are there for you to claim.
God loves you so completely and He knows your need and name.
Lean not to your own understanding, receive peace and comfort and let the Holy Spirit guide.
Call on Jesus and experience the power that has been tested and been tried.

(Psalm 42:5) "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance."

BELIEVE THAT ALL WILL BE FINE because GOD WILL BE WITH YOU AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU TO SHINE.

Now go forward in each new day, being fully present one moment at a time, and live an intentional life in hope and expectation of the abundant possibilities that God has prepared for you to experience and grow through.
