I am telling you now that it is very important that you list or write down your goals.

The advantage that I have learned from many successful individuals is that a written goal increases motivation.

Since your goal or goals are clearly defined then there are stronger chances that you will make them happen.

You know what you want to realize and you know what you need to do in order achieve these dreams.

2. Commitment- Many millionaires have a higher level of commitment when compared to others.

You have to remember though, that commitment is not just simply stating your commitment.

No, commitment is also about pure action—doing tasks, hurdling obstacles to realize your dreams.

Very successful individuals have an intrinsic habit of committing to their goals and seeing them through regardless of what they come up against.

3. Time- You must have a specific timeframe. This will make it easier for you.

A timeframe will also allow you to monitor how far you have come and how far you have to go to achieve your goals.

The closer you are to realizing your goals gives you positive motivation and inspiration to keep on going and achieving more.

4. Persistence- Persistence may be the single most important factor in most success.

You must have persistence to achieve anything worthwhile in life.

The road to success is fraught with failures, obstacles and challenges. All of which can test your strength and resolve.

Showing persistence to continue steadfast toward your goals and dreams regardless how difficult and challenging things become will ultimately be the difference to you realizing success or not.

The greatest example of persistence was that of Thomas Edison, who reportedly failed 10,000 times before he finally created the light bulb.
