Delaware, and the rest of the unique English Cities, has some area that is leased rather than held by the people of that area. Much of it is not obvious to the informal viewer.

The area on Lewes Seaside is leased, not held by the property entrepreneurs. The area of Lewes Seaside is held by the City of Lewes. The areas of Rehoboth by the Sea and Dewey Seaside include leased area too.
