Advanced Mediumship

Physical mediumship is an instance that occurs when the exte
al spirits influence the energies of a medium and create corporeal materializations that are used to communicate effectively from their world to ours. This phenomenon has proven that there is life after death and that it is possible for the spirits to reappear on this earth in the form that they used to exist in. Spirits can materialize in this world and this can be in the form of raps, knocks, levitation or sometimes transfiguration. One of the unique features of physical mediumship is the occurrence of materialization. This entire process of physical mediumship is dependent on the medium and a form of energy called ectoplasm created by the medium. Ectoplasm is the energy released by the medium in trying to establish a link with the spirit and it is used by the spirit to physically manifest itself.
During physical mediumship, the form of the energy matter or ectoplasm is entirely dependent on the medium. It can be visible, invisible, colored or white depending on the type of energy released by the medium. Once the ectoplasm is created, the spirit uses it to give itself a shape which can be reminiscent of what they looked like when alive or how they look like now. There have been records of ectoplasm being taken form inanimate objects that exist within psychic circles to help in the process of materialization. The quality and depth of the materialized form can range from wispy ghost like manifestations or fully dressed clearly visible forms that roam within the psychic circle and pass on information from the world of spirits to the real world. While it is true that the identity of the medium is not disclosed and there is always a barrier between the materialized spirit and the medium, there have been instances when people seated within a psychic circle have seen the ectoplasm that works as the connection between the two.
Another feature of physical mediumship is the appearance of Apports. During these sessions many of the sitters have received physical objects which have been brought forth by the spiritual connection between a spirit and a medium. They range from flowers to coins to buttons and have been shown as proof of the fact that the spiritual manifestations have the ability to transport physical material from their plane of existence to ours. These apports do not disappear with the fading away of the materialized spirit and make us wonder about the world beyond the one which we live in.
Physical mediumship is an exceptionally draining exercise and most mediums find that they become very weak after a session. However it is true that the mediums can enhance their strength with proper meditation techniques and concentration enhancing exercises.
