He founded Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust in 1979 with an aim to establish educational institutions. He was supported by dedicated workers whose sincere efforts resulted in establishment of around 20 branches of Al-Ameen Educational Society and 135 institutions throughout the Country. Al Ameen Medical Colleges is one among these institutions established in the year 1984 in Bijapur.

Undergraduate Medical Course
The undergraduate medical course offered in Al Ameen Medical College is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), which is of 4 ½ years duration followed by one-year internship. As permitted by MCI, 150 students are admitted to MBBS course in each academic year.

Postgraduate Medical Courses
The PG medical courses offered in Al Ameen Medical College are Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS), which are of 3 years duration. The courses are offered in various specializations, namely:
Doctor of Medicine (MD)
Pathology, Anatomy, Forensic Medicine/Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Physiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics and Radio Diagnosis/Radiology. As permitted by MCI, 18 students are admitted to these courses, in total, in each academic year.
Master of Surgery (MS)
Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. As permitted by MCI, 12 students are admitted to these courses, in total, in each academic year.
Postgraduate Diploma Courses
Al Ameen Medical College Bijapur also offers postgraduate diploma courses, which is of 2 years duration, in Ophthalmology and Anesthesia. As permitted by MCI, two students are admitted to these courses, in total, in each academic year.

PG Medical Entrance Exam
NEET PG is a common entrance exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to PG Medical course in medical colleges in India. To secure PG Medical Admission in Al Ameen Medical College, candidate should qualify in NEET PG entrance exam with required percentile as given below:

The medical college is attached to a 500-bed hospital i.e. Al Ameen Medical College Hospital, which is highly equipped with modern technology to provide health care services to the needy and hands-on experience to the students. Al Ameen Medical College premises is spread over 200 acres of land on Western Hills of Bijapur.
