Alfa Chemistry Launches Fluoropolymers as An ISO 9001:2015 Certified Supplier

Recognized for their unmatched chemical and temperature resistance properties, fluoropolymer materials are widely used in many industries. Few fluoropolymers have been reported to cause skin sensitivity and irritation in humans,” said the Marketing Chief of Alfa Chemistry. “Meanwhile, fluoropolymers are also known for many other properties, such as chemical resistance, thermal stability, flame resistance, low friction coefficient, low surface energy, low dielectric constant, as well as high volume and surface resistivity.”

Among the fluoropolymer family, PTFE is the dominant one and is closely followed by FEP, PFA, ETFE, and other tetrafluoroethylene-copolymers. Meanwhile, the mentioned fluoropolymers account for about 3/4 of the entire fluoropolymer market. It is worth mentioning that fluoroelastomers have also received growing popularity in the recent decade as highly specialized and functional materials.
