Petroleum products such as transportation fuels and fuel oils are in nearly everything we use. Below are the major petroleum product types that can be tested by Alfa Chemistry:

Fuel Oil, a fraction obtained from petroleum distillation, either as a distillate or a residue. Gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and kerosene are the most commonly seen fuel oil types.

Lubricating Oil & Grease, composed of base oils and additives, are primarily used in motorized vehicles.

Paraffin Wax, a soft, colorless solid derived from petroleum, coal, or shale oil. According to the degree of refining, there are fully refined paraffin, semi-refined paraffin, and crude paraffin.

Petroleum Asphalt, a sticky, black, and highly viscous liquid or semi-solid that is found in most petroleum crude oils and some natural deposits, is mainly used as infrastructure materials in transportation and construction.

Petroleum Coke, a byproduct of the oil refining process, is usually used in the manufacture of energy, steel, aluminum, automobiles, high-impact plastics, etc.
