She’s THE one. No doubt about it. You’ve finally found the most wonderful woman in the world. The one great love that you want to spend the rest of your life with. A beautiful, smart woman who loves your cheesy jokes. She doesn’t mind your ear-splitting snore. You both plan to have 12 children and live in a hunting lodge in the middle of the forest. She’s absolutely perfect. You intend to settle down soon, and you’re racking your brains for the most romantic wedding proposal ever. There are tons of ideas to choose from, but you'll only have the one that’s perfect for her.
Asking the woman of your dreams to become your wife can be the most fantastic and knee-shaking thing you’ve ever done. You want to sweep her off her feet but how? If you would rather to do it the very traditional way, ask her father for her hand in marriage. When he approves, plan a family gathering and propose to her in private. If she says yes, announce your engagement to everyone. Another classic way to pop the question is a candlelit dinner. Take her out to dinner on a fancy restaurant. Better yet, cook her favourite dinner at home.
Turn off all the lights and play romantic songs to set the mood. The glowing candles and romantic tunes will get her in the mood for love and romance. Try recreating your first date. Take her back to where it all started. Make everything exactly as it was that night, from the food to the music, etc. She will be amazed that you actually remembered even the smallest details of your first date. Is she a nature-lover? Propose on top of the mountain or a waterfall. Is she a music lover? Write a love song for her (or have it written for you).
Sing the love song while slow dancing with her. She’ll be blown away for sure! Any girl would find flowers very irresistible. Choose her favourite blooms and spell out “marry me”. Flowers might be a bit costly but hey, you only get to do it once, right? Are you sports fans? Take her to a basketball game (or whichever ballgame you both are crazy about) arrange to have your message displayed on the scoreboard during halftime. But, before making a public proposal make sure that you have discussed marriage and you are positive she’ll say yes. Tight budget? No problem.
Bring home a new puppy with a ribbon for a collar. Have the ring in the bow where she’s sure to see it while cuddling the adorable pup. Everyday people come up with more unique and more romantic ideas to propose. It doesn’t really matter if you do it in an extravagant or simple way. Just make it memorable. Plan out what you are going to wear, the exact words you are going to say, and what you are going to do after the proposal. your girl will be totally captivated and have a hard time saying “no” if she sees that you are truly sincere and committed.
Good luck!!
