Do you know that 1 million Android devices activated each day (that’s 12 each second). Also we have been using Android since the earliest days of the T-Mobile G1. It’s clear that Google improved not only the system itself, but also the apps that come with it. So it’s must for us to update ourselves every time by latest android news and different types of apps.

There are several android apps which are popular among people even people can’t live without these apps on their phones. But there are also some apps which are not worth to use. Let’s take an example of IHeartRadio app for Android. I downloaded the IHeartRadio app to my android phone because a couple of local stations can be accessed through that app with my favorite morning show. I love to listen to the morning show at work, but some of the machines interfere with the reception on my walkman (like an IPod) so at times the sound is all crackly. The app worked great and I loved the crisp clear sound I got.

But about few months ago, I heard on the radio about the new IHeartRadio app, with all kinds of improvements. Then I downloaded the upgrade version. The upgrade, like some computer programs, unloaded the first version, and then loaded the new version.

I have never been so disappointed in an app like this. The thing does not work - exactly. It hangs while loading the permissions. So, I updated my phone firmware. I tried it again. No dice. Then, I looked and saw that the app (which had previously sported 4.5 stars out of 5 from thousands of users) was suddenly getting 1 star from hundreds of users.
Anyway, always be careful about this type of apps- stay away, it sucks!

Five favorite android apps:
Airdroid: This app is the perfect tool for transferring photos, videos and music.
Chrome: Google released Chrome out of beta just days ago so we’re still not used to thinking of it as the stock Android browser.
Flipboard: The problem with beautiful things is you get used to them so quickly. And that’s exactly what’s the “problem” with this here app. If you’ve seen Flipboard, you probably won’t want to go back to reading any other way.
Friendcaster for Facebook: Fantastic apps to use Facebook features - Friendcaster for Facebook.
Skype: If you have someone you love or want to get in touch with far away, and you really want to be able to talk to them without thinking about the bill, Skype should be your first stop.
