As you go through each day are you filled with love, peace and joy or worry, doubt and fear? If you're like most people you were taught to focus more on worry, doubt and fear. The only time you were suppose to feel love, peace and joy was when you were in church or praying.

So what were we taught to feel? Most of us were taught to feel negative emotions. Let's look at something we were taught that has become a large focus in our lives. We see it on telelvision, in movies, in the news, everywhere we turn. It's Guilt and Innocence.

Innocence is often defined as a pure state we are born into. We are born loving everyone. We have no concept of right or wrong, good or evil. As babies we experienced being in the moment, being in bliss. All our needs are met and that's as it should be. For some of us this bliss lasted for a long time and for others it ended in a few short moments.

Guilt on the other hand is something we are taught. Why are we taught guilt? Our society teaches us guilt to protect itself. Guilt is a form of control. If you have no guilit what is to prevent you from hurting me? So we are taught to have that nasty feeling whenever we do something that we were taught is wrong. Yes, whenever you are feeling guilt remember that it is there becuase someone else was afraid of being hurt or vulnerable. The funny thing is that we are taught to feel guilty about big things like taking a life and silly little things like making our beds or squeezing the toothpaste tube the wrong way.

Guilt gets you no where. Guilt is self-depreciation. Guilt goes against your nature. You are love, love of self and love of all. You cannot be love and guilt at the same time. - they are opposite vibrations. So when you feel guilty about something you did or didn't do in the past, what does it get you? You can't go back and change things. One constructive thing you can do is reach for a better feeling now and never mind anything that has been. There's nothing you can do about what has already happened anyway and you don't need to. You stand right now as a pure, blessed, loving, all powerful, all knowing, and all deserved being. Spend each moment in love, peace and joy. Be the being you were created to be. You are love, live that love and you'll never feel guilty again
