Are Your Actions Inspired?

Today I want to talk to you about something that is a key question for business owners and entrepreneurs. The question is “are you inspired by what you do?”

When you wake up in the morning, are you excited about what’s coming ahead?
Do you feel fired up about all you have to accomplish in the day?
Are you delighted to have another day to give it your all?
Are you just raring to go?
Or

Are you so exhausted you don’t know whether you’re coming or going? (Trust me I know how that feels…I have a 2 year old!)
Do you feel as if you have nothing else to give?
Do you wonder if it’s ever going to come good?
Does your to-do list give you the heeby-jeebies?
The truth is being in business is not easy but when you are truly passionate about what you do, how your business is going to be successful and what you have to do to make it successful, then everything you do becomes inspired.

That’s the beauty for me – yes, you have calls to make, emails to send, suppliers to visit, customers to service and so on but when you undertake each activity with a sense of enjoyment and pride, it makes it all worthwhile.

So, here’s a challenge for you….this evening, plan out what your day is going to be like tomorrow and really look forward to it. If you are dreading a task tomorrow, think about how you can flip your perspective on it and instead of thinking of how much you’re dreading it, think about how it’s going to help your business move forward.

Then if it still feels like a horrible task…try and get it done as early as possible – it’ll do wonders for your mindset. This strategy is the brainchild of Brian Tracy and it’s called “eating the frog”!
