For many years I have being saying that I am going to sell my house, leave my job and run a B and B somewhere hot and sunny! And, I am glad to announce, that after recently being made redundant, I am taking the plunge and heading to Greece. Maybe its a romantic notion but I am really looking forward to a change of direction in my life. My intention is to arrive in Greece with nothing but a backpack and an idea. Most of my family think I am mad but I think its liberating. I intend to leave in four months regardless of the situation with the house. I have a New Chevrolet Spark car to sell, plenty of money in the bank and this should be enough to get me started. I am heading for a coastal place on the mainland called Parga. It is relatively unknown and not commercialised at all. I want to find a small place which is situated just off the beach in the lemon groves. As I am intending to run the place by myself, I don’t want to have more than four rooms. I will also offer breakfast and possibly snacks in the day. I really hope it works out for me as this really would be my dream come true. Fingers crossed.
