Article Marketing - How To Get The Most Mileage Out Of Your Articles

You are probably aware of how important article marketing can be to driving traffic to your website. Article marketing works especially well for small business entrepreneurs and those with a home based business. But once you have spent the time and energy writing your articles, you should leverage your work to get even greater results from each article. Here how:

1. Submit your articles to multiple directories – once you have written articles, don’t just submit them to one article directory. There are several well-established and plenty of smaller article directories you can use to build your traffic. You will get most of your article traffic from ezinearticles.com, but using other directories will help build your backlinks and might give you a little extra traffic. There are even people you can pay that will submit your articles to other article directories if you don’t have the time to do so yourself.

2. Use your articles to create your own e-book – creating your own e-book from articles that you have written is a great way to leverage your articles. It is rather simple to take a few of your best articles (look at which articles get the most traffic), put them into a Word document, and create a table of contents. Give your e-book a cover page and a title, and you now own your own e-book that you can give away or sell.

3. Use your articles to create an audio or video series – good information is good information regardless of its format. That is why I like to use some of my best articles to create 2-3 minute video clips that I put on places like YouTube. I have even thought about putting some of my articles together to create a video series that people can purchase. I have not gotten that far with my articles yet, but I think converting articles into audio and video is a great way to get your website in front of many more people without having to come up with new content.
