Recently there was a study done in France about what women are attracted to. It was a narrowed study that focused on one prop, a guitar. They sent a young man in his 20's out to approach and try and get the number of several different women. Sometimes he was carrying a guitar and other times he wasn't.
The study reported that when the man didn't have his guitar he only got the girls number 14% of the time. When he had his guitar with him he got the girls phone number 30% of the time. That's TWICE as many phone numbers.
That got me to thinking, do rock stars really get more girls? If they do, what does that mean for guys with no musical talent, or a record contract? Are they doomed to a life of loneliness and solitude? Of course not. It is for more likely, that the qualities of a rock star is what's most attractive to women.
In this article we will examine those qualities and I will show you how you can communicate them to the women that you're trying to attract without ever having to actually be a rock star. So what are the qualities of a rock star?
Independencern rnIt's well known that rock stars are independent people, like to do they want, anytime they want, and how they want. This is significant because nobody, especially women, feels a deep gut level attraction for codependent people. If you can demonstrate that you're an independent guy, who knows what they want, gets what they want, and does what they want, and does not need her approval, then you will instantly generate more attraction.
By the way, if you find a woman who loves and seeks out codependent men, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction and do NOT look back.
How to communicate independence:
-Show you can take care of yourself by being well groomed and neatly put together. You don't need a mother figure to dress you and remind you to brush your teeth.
-Enjoy yourself at all times around her, no matter what anybody maybe thinking about you. The more you enjoy yourself, the more she is going to enjoy you.
-You lead the group and the conversation, never look for others to lead.
-Be proud of who you are, make no apologies, make no excuses, and show others the respect you demand for yourself.
rnUniquenessrn rnWe all remember rock stars by their uniqueness of dress, voice, style, music and many other things that makes them individuals. Rock stars are memorable for a reason. It is your responsibility to be memorable, if you are not memorable, your chances of success are greatly diminished.
I encourage you to take sometime, write down what is unique about you, and come up with creative ways to accent that about yourself.
How To Communicate Uniqueness:
-If you have unique qualities about you,and you do, accent them in a very matter of fact, non bragging way.
-Demonstrate who you are at all times with consistancy as if it is by nature not 'self help design'.
-Like appreciates like, a unique person will also recognize and appreciate the unique things about others around them. Women especially love when you are able to point out the little things about them that are different from the rest of the crowd.
Creativity
This almost goes without saying but its helpful here so I'll go through it with you. Rock stars are creative people. They are expressive. They do things their way and typically are far outside the box. This makes them stand out, this makes them shiny, and lets face it, attractive women love shiny things. Be shiny, not a flashy overbearing jerk, there is a difference.
People are generally creative about the things they are passionate about. They have great stories, speak enthusiastically about whatever it is they are about and who they are. They are interesting because they have that creativity and passion. Women are drawn to this because it demonstrates a very strong sense of self and purpose.
Style
In the 80's bands like Aerosmith wore tight spandex pants and they were PROUD of it. If we saw a string of silk scarves tied to the microphone stand we were sure we were about to get blessed with some 'Sweet Emotion', that's style.We typically identify our favorite rock stars by their recognizable styles and we love and appreciate them for it.
For the record I'm not telling you to go out and buy spandex pants, hit your local club, and watch the women come flooding over. I'm saying figure out who you are, who you want to be, and express that in your own unique style of dress and mannerisms and make no apologies about it. Remember what I said earlier about being shiny?
Lots of people get caught up in wearing, doing, saying, and thinking what the crowd is. This gets you nowhere. Imagine if you're an attractive woman, you get approached by men several times a day. Most of them are doing and saying the same things to try and get her attention, they believe they are being unique and clever, but to their doom, shes seen it 10 times already that day. They have no shine. Get it?
