Clashes and conflicts arise on a daily basis regardless of how extreme or minor the conflict may be. However, the best thing and most effective thing to do is to be able to avoid bringing them up or feeding the clash even further. On a spiritual level, truly avoiding conflicts can restore humanity and create personal growth.

In attempting to avoid clashes, many people mistake and turn the true meaning of “avoid” into “tolerate”. Toleration and avoidance are two very different things. Avoidance of clashes will totally prevent it and will not affect the future; however, tolerating it will only test your patience.

‘Avoid Clash’
There are too many examples to describe what a clash is and how it easily creates conflict. In a situation where a mother and a daughter are fighting, for example, the mother tells her daughter that she cannot go out with her friends unless she sweeps the floor of the house. There are two paths of where the daughter can choose to go. The first, the daughter can make a fit and get a scolding from her mother. Then conflict will arise but the daughter still will not be able to go out until she finishes the work that her mother had given to her.
Now, the second path, the daughter can properly sweep the floor to avoid the tension between the mother and her so that she can go out with her friend. The difference between both situations is that in the first path, the daughter will not only waste the time she has to be with her friends but will also create conflict and tension between her and her mother. In this way, to prevent clashes between two or more people, it is important to do what is necessary of what will not create heat between people.

‘Tolerate Clash’
When there are more than two people involved in a situation, it could be more difficult to satisfy everyone and avoid a clash. Nevertheless, this does not mean that one should tolerate it either. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan had said, “To tolerate is the same as compressing a spring. How long can a spring remain compressed? Rather than learn how to tolerate, learn how to reach a solution.” Only obtaining a solution will allow you to avoid clashes.

In order to reach this solution you should not see the fault of the opposing people. With this awareness, you will find the solution to resolve a matter. If you does not adjust to the situation, and only sees the fault of others, they will be responsible for the arising of that clash.

To stay calm and to keep the understanding of the awareness of one’s self and their surroundings, that is how you can avoid clashes. During a conflict, you loses all surrounding awareness. This obstructs the spiritual growth. In order to maintain peace, you must recognize the Self with the knowledge that Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan has given to many people around the world. This will assure spiritual progress and a clearer understanding of the world and people’s clashes. With the understanding, seeing and avoiding clashes can become easier and more effectively solved.

People who develop this attachment style learn to depend on their resources. They avoid deep emotional connections. People with this attachment style want intimacy, yet they remain afraid of becoming dependent on others. Understanding Avoidant Attachment Among the four primary attachment styles, avoidant atta

The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
