Barbados, A Caribbean Gem

When one thinks of Barbados, one instantly thinks of the long sandy beaches, edged with palm trees and the sun slowly sinking into the Caribbean Sea. This tropical paradise is a holiday destination loved by tourists and locals alike, and much of the islands economy revolves around tourism. In recent years a plethora of luxury holiday villas in Barbados have been built to cater for the regular influx of visitors wanting to spend a week or two enjoying everything the island has to offer.
The western side of the island which faces the Caribbean Sea is the most popular amongst tourists. From the islands capital of Bridgetown in the south up to Speightstown in the north, you can find restaurants, beach front bars, snorkelling, scuba diving and other water sports, as well as golf courses, tennis courts and much much more. Whether you want an action packed holiday either in or out of the water, or simply wish to sit back and soak up the sun, Barbados can deliver.

The island measures 21 miles from north to south and 14 miles east to west at it's widest point. There are plenty of opportunities to hire a car at a reasonable price and by doing so, one can explore the island from any of the Barbados villas for rent. The island has so much to offer and having a tropical setting, offers sunshine almost all year round, so if you're looking for a luxury Caribbean holiday, then villas in Barbados will not disappoint.
