Would you like to be psychic? You probably already are, but not to the extent you would like. There are some very simple methods and training to help in your endeavor.
Are you afraid of being psychic? Don’t be. It is perfectly natural, and nothing at all to be afraid of. Some religions teach that it is the “work of the devil” and also teach that you should do whatever you have to do to purge those tendencies from your mind. I respectfully disagree with them. I almost never agree with anyone who teaches fear. If “God” is all loving, what is there to be afraid of? Do not be afraid, but instead think about it in a logical fashion. You will probably come to the same conclusion I have. Knee-jerk reactions can be changed by reasonable, logical thought. In a nutshell, celebrate your “gift” and have fun with it.
I have taken many classes from meditation to psychometry, and just about everything in between. Most of them have been fun, but not all have been terribly productive. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I found that there was a lot of “one-upsmanship” in some classes. For instance, some were not there to learn more about their craft, but instead to show everyone just how psychic they were, by offering up more and more outlandish so-called visions. Fun, but not what I was looking for.
My quest was to improve my ability so that I could make my life just a little easier. I wanted a tool to help me make major decisions without all the gut wrenching doubts. I found that it was actually pretty easy to learn to count on my own counsel, and I can actually do readings for others. I don’t do them too often, but they are usually accurate. I stay away from the questions about getting married this year or winning the lottery this year. I just go with what I am sensing about the other person. Sometimes it does have to do with wealth or relationships, but often it is something that comes as a surprise. Lots of fun anyway. Doing readings for others, once you have a little confidence, is wonderful practice. It is a whole new level when you start putting yourself out there and committing to stating what you are feeling, out loud, to someone else.
I found that I really liked studying and practicing in the privacy of my own home at my own pace. It is much easier for me to be alone or with one or two others who are also serious students. I do a lot better without all the distractions. Besides, I never wanted to try to compete with the outlandish visions. What they said they were seeing made what I was sensing seem like it was insignificant. And it WAS NOT.
If you would like to learn at home like I did, go to www.amipsychic.org for a program which will be more fun and effective than most. Try it and make it fun. You won’t stick with anything that isn’t fun.
