Designing and delivering creative and successful training packages over a period of 15 years as a member of the management team within the financial services industry. Through out her career Debbie had a passion for developing teams who worked with and for her. A variety of roles including Project Manager, Customer Services Manager and Business Development Manager equipped her with the knowledge and skills that would be beneficial to delivering bespoke solutions to meet clients needs.

Whilst within the Financial services sector she used coaching as a tool to develop sales teams productivity and self-belief. Over a short period of time she was able to support members of her team make dramatic changes in their behaviour. This resulted in a self-motivated and directed team.

In 1998 she too experienced the stress of divorce and watched the impact this had on close family, friends and work colleagues. With this in mind she set up smartcoaching in 2003 whilst working full time for The Co-operative Bank. In August 2004 Debbie moved to work full time in her coaching role. Debbie is a CoachU graduate and a member of the ICF – International Coaching Federation as well as the FSB – Federation of Small Businesses.
