Beauty of New seven wonders

Since ancient times people have put together wonders that include objects made by human beings that were considered important because of their size or some other unusual quality these architectural wonders were grouped together and named as the ancient wonders of the world. These ancient wonders of the world included of monuments like Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging gardens of Babylon, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halica
assus, Colossus of Rhodes and the Light house of Alexandria. These monuments remained the seven wonders of the world for more than 2000 years.

But in the year 2001 an initiative was started by the Swiss government who conducted a global contest on internet for deciding the new Seven Wonders of the World. Finally on July 7th 2007 the election results were announced where more than 100 million people casted their vote for deciding the new seven wonders of the world. These wonder comprise of some of the most beautiful man-made creations which will leave you captivated. These beautiful monuments are situated on the different parts of this beautiful planet and together are known as new Seven Wonders of the World.

These new seven wonders are as follows:

The Great Wall of China is one of the greatest wonders on the planet earth. This huge wall goes up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6700 kilometers.

The Taj Mahal India offers you the architectural beauty of Mugals which is also known as the epitome of love. This beautiful monument was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife who died due to child birth.

The statue of Christ the Redeemer Brazil was built on the top of Corcovado Mountain signifies that Christ loves all.

Machu Picchu Peru is one of the famous citadels in Incas and now has been included into one of the new seven wonders of the World.

Chichen Itza Mexico is a religious center which has square shaped central pyramid about 75 feet tall.
Colosseum Rome shows the remarkable architecture and engineering of Roman people to the world. This amphitheater was built in the Roman age which could accommodate thousands of viewers.

The Petra Jordan which comprises of more than 800 individual monuments including buildings, tombs, baths, funeral corridors, temples, arched income and adjacent streets.
