Body creams for beautiful skin
Written by Claude Be ard
There are people that are born with a beautiful skin which is genetic, and then there are those that were not so fortunate. Women in particular of all age groups want a beautiful healthy looking skin. However, nowadays most people live in the fast lane and do not maintain a healthy diet, are stressed out and do not carry out a healthy skin regime, and this is when early signs of ageing appear, showing fine lines and wrinkles at an early age. For example you should wash your face in the morning and in the evening with a good face wash suited to your skin type, using warm water. After washing cleanse the skin with a cleanser and then tone the skin.
Avoid over cleansing the skin, especially people that suffer from oily skin, as this will tend to dry out certain areas and cause the skin to become flaky. An aloe vera cleanser is a great choice and is well suited to all skin types. Avoid using hot or cold water when cleansing the face and neck area, as this could cause the fine capillaries to break. The next important step is to exfoliate the skin at least once a week. Exfoliating removes the embedded dirt and dead skin cells as well as encourages the skin to produce the required oils. There are body creams Australia that contain micro granules for the purpose of exfoliating. The final step to a beautiful skin is applying a good quality moisturizer. There is a host of brands available on the market of which the best is those that comprise of natural ingredients. By keeping the skin well moisturized, this will eliminate dry flaky skin especially in the winter months. Maintaining a beautiful skin also comes from within, as there is a variety of foods that contribute to health and beauty. For instance fruits such as Papaya, black currents, strawberries and blueberries are excellent source of antioxidants and Vitamin C which helps maintain the skins elasticity and protects the collagen structure. Foods such as apricots, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, pomegranates, dark leafy greens, and cucumber are all excellent skin food. Such foods provide fiber, lycopene, polyphenol antioxidants, iron, and other that prevent the skin from aging prematurely.
The most essential ingredient in all types of skin care creams and lotions is sunscreen. The number one cause of wrinkles, dark spots and premature ageing is excessive sun exposure. Sunscreen should be applied throughout the year even in winter or cloudy weather. In dry summer mothers and in winter one should make use of a humidifier which will retain the moisture in the air, and prevent the skin from drying out.
