Blackberry Sauce on Boneless Pork Chop Recipes
This recipe appeals to busy moms because it takes only 15 minutes of prep time and the same amount of time for the cooking time. Here are the ingredients that you need to prepare:
6 pieces boneless pork loin chops
Black pepper and salt
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup of minced shallots
2 teaspoons of thyme leaves (dried)
3/4 cup of Port wine (sweet)
3/4 cup of fresh blackberry juice
3/4 of chicken broth
A tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons of cornstarch
2 teaspoons of water
2 cups of whole fresh blackberries

Cooking Procedure:
Place the pork chops on a plate and rub each side with pepper and salt. Set aside. Then, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork chops and fry both sides well. Turn the pork only once, after cooking for 3 minutes on each side. Then, place the pork chops on a plate and set aside. Pour the rest of the olive oil in the skillet and cook the thyme and the shallots for a minute. Afterwards, pour the Port wine, vinegar, blackberry juice and the chicken broth. Continue cooking for a few minutes until it boils. Remove any residue of the brown flavor that forms on top of the sauce. Then, add in the water and the cornstarch. Stir the mixture occasionally, until it thickens in texture. Gradually reduce the amount of heat. Add in the fresh blackberries and put the pork chops back in the skillet. Coat the pork with the sauce. Arrange the pork chops in a plate and serve warm.
