Lilly and her boyfriend work together. It's really his business, and she's his marketing manager. One of the ways they are able to maintain a healthy relationship and run a successful business is because they establish clear boundaries.

They try not to talk about work after-hours, especially on dates and weekends. In the end, her boyfriend makes all final decisions because he is the boss, and she is his employee. They keep the public displays of affection to a minimum at work, and they do not introduce themselves as boyfriend and girlfriend to clients.

Although these boundaries may seem rigid, they are absolutely necessary to make sure that any negativity at work does not contaminate their personal relationship, and vice-versa.
