Just when I thought I was ready to unleash on the world and get some of my idea's into motion and action I have a ....rnSET BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!rnPreviously set backs on come in the forms of financial set backs (unexpected bills for example), time delays, a unresponsive partner or friend when I wanted to make changes or like right now, a health scare.rnFunny how just when I’ve gotten over some fear and self sabotage and I feel like I’m finally ready to take ACTION it always brings up things for me...rnThis is to the extreme but even for me! I am writing this from hospital. After I did my goals for the next 6 months, and got ready for an action week ahead, I had an "attack" and was immediately rushed to hospital via ambulance (cute ambulance guys from what I can remember after the morphine everything went a lil groggy!)rnLong story short they found I have a pancreas & liver disease and I needed urgent life saving surgery. I am now needing to heal from this and will probably need more surgery in 6 weeks time (although I am now researching other natural alternatives too!)rnSo I'm a girl who drinks green smoothies every day, I don't eat red meat or drink alcohol and I certainly am not overweight nor unhealthy yet I am in this health challenge.. As I write this with tears I suppose facing and dealing with setbacks is just one of the many facts of life. And sometimes when we think we're ready to unleash on the world, the universe has other plans for us! rnSo here's what I have learnt about setbacks:rnSetbacks can be viewed from different perspectives; some good and some bad .It all depends on you and what you hope to take from it. rn1.ACKNOWLEDGErnno-one is immuned to set backs. If you have one, recognise the problem. By doing this you can start the process of transformation. We are capable of doing incredible things when faced with a set back, including making incredible changes to our life - for the better! 2. ELMINIATE BLAMErnThings happen for no obvious reason sometimes - exploring the way forward is much healthier than trying to point the blame on a set back that is irreversible.rn3. SPIRITUALITYrnI truly believe in trying times spirituality sustains us in times of uncertainty and setbacks.rn4. TIMErnTime is only a good healer if you allow it to do so. It serves no purpose to "dwell" in the setback, allow the movement of time to push you through it! time does heal!rn5. STEP OUTrnWhich is what I am doing (which has taken guts to write this) confronting and staring a set back in the face (and sharing it honestly to say "hey this is where I'm at" ) has enormous power. We can learn so much from others setbacks too.... This health challenge I am faced with doesn't change the fact I am not a victim. Setbacks like sickness in life are to be overcome. And I know I will be in a better situation on the other side of this. I am committed to keeping my manifesting faith and a heart of joy. The universe is always on our side, it has our back in times like this and I am destined to win and beat this!
