Breakup Advice For You
Written by Devango Bobs
Being in a relationship with someone you really love can be the best thing that you will ever have. It awakens emotions on you that you never thought existed until the day you fall in love. And, then you start to believe in fairy-tales and wake up every morning feeling free and grateful. But what if reality suddenly pulls you out of that beautiful dream? Small talks turn into arguments, arguments turn into big fights, and big fights turn into ignoring each other for a long time. That feeling of happiness suddenly turns into feelings of regret and remorse. Then you think everything will be alright if both of you fight for it, but no matter what you do, the relationship just gets worse every day. Both of you are not happy anymore but neither one of you is willing to let go or make the move to end it. So how do you end a relationship the appropriate way? Here are some of the breakup advice you may want to follow.
The first thing that you are going to do is to think deeply about the reasons why you want to end the relationship. After listing all those reasons, go all over it again and analyze which are the ones you can fix and you can’t fix. If 80% - 90% of the reasons can be fixed, then ending the relationship is not a good idea. You and your partner can talk all about those reasons and figure out solutions to solve those reasons. But if most of the reasons can’t be fixed even after talking it through with your partner, then ending the relationship may be the appropriate decision to make.
When you have finally made your decision, the second thing you are going to do is breaking the news to your partner. As you give out your reasons, never ever blame your partner for all the things that you disliked in your relationship. You should admit to yourself that some of it is your fault and your individual differences that seem to hinder your relationship from getting better. After giving out the reasons, make it clear to your partner the decision you have made. Do not leave him or her hanging to false promises; instead, make it clear that the relationship has to end. Always remember that once you do that, there’s no turning back. Stick to your decision even if your partner is begging you not to. Push her/him back to reality that no matter what you do, the relationship is not going anywhere but downhill.
You have to expect that there will be tears and pain because ending a relationship is never that easy. It can bring intense emotions for the both of you. You have to prepare yourself for this and never ever let the pain of letting go keep you from sticking to your decision. Tell your partner that this is the best for the both of you, that you have to continue living even if it means not being with each other anymore and even if it hurts that bad.The third thing you are going to do after telling your decision is making your partner understand that you can be still friends despite the break-up. But if he or she doesn’t want to, then respect it. Make it also easier for him or her to move on by keeping a distance and avoiding any situation that can bring up memories from both of you. If he or she goes on hating you because of this, just don’t mind. You have to understand that this is not easy for your partner and hating you may be his or her way of coping up with the pain. You just have to put in mind that you have made the best decision for the both of you and someday, your ex-partner will be able to understand it. It may not be now, but later when he or she realizes your good intentions.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it.
