To know about the ways of caring for your skin, it is very important for us to first know the basic requirements of healthy human skin. Vitamin E present in almonds, spinach, carrots, raw seeds helps treat sun damage and cellulite deposit. Vitamin C found in citrus fruits, tomatoes, peas, leafy green vegetables acts as antioxidants, helps in producing collagen (a protein that aids growth of cells and blood vessels which keeps skin strong and firm), it also helps in skin repair and lessens sun burns. Foods like oily fish, egg yolk, dairy products, whole grains, which are rich in Vitamin D reduces spots, acnes and unusual growth in the skin. Vitamin E rich foods like pine nuts, asparagus, green olives, avocados help again as antioxidants, protects from sun damage and quick aging.
Now, as we are already aware that the sun and its ultraviolet rays can affect our skin and health largely. So it’s extremely necessary to learn proper caring tips and tricks to save oneself from the scorching summer heat and harmful sun rays. Though it’s also important to care for your skin not only in the summer, but throughout the whole year. There are different natural as well cosmetic remedies for skin care.
Natural remedies include development of proper and religious routine of cleansing, scrubbing, toning and moisturizing with natural elements which are easily available at your home like yogurt, honey, oranges, sugar, olive oil, oatmeal and tea bags. These elements if used properly and regularly can give you a soft and supple skin which you would love. There are a huge variety of cosmetic products available in the market now a days, which also can be used as an alternative for people who are busy and on the go. But it’s important to choose the right product according to your skin type.
The onset of summer makes us more conscious and thoughtful about our skin and health as it brings with it problems like dehydration, sunburns, skin damage, rashes and tanning. So here are some general tips which would help you protect yourself from these problems.
Tip 1. Avoid getting out under the sun between 10 am to 2 pm. This is the time when the ultraviolet rays have the most impact.
Tip 2. Properly cleanse and apply sunscreen all over the exposed areas of your skin every day.
rnTip 3. Wear clothes which would cover most parts of your body, like big hats, sunglasses, long sleeved clothes.
Tip 4. Make sure to drink lots of water/ liquids to overcome the fluids you lose from perspiring.
Your skin is the image of your health, the most treasured possession of your whole body. So in order to stay healthy and fit you must take care of your daily skin and healthcare regime.
