An IT employees Sumanth and Gowthami, residence on either side of Vivekananda Nagar and work for the same organization. For months their conversation limited to ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ when they use to meet in office premises.
One fine day, both met near parking zone. fortunately, both had a word to each other about how bored they are while driving back home! And both decided to share their car with each other in alternative days to reduce stress associated with driving cars.
Consequently, they became an adorable social companion to each other and both started commuting together to a workplace. Carpooling is not just limited to them many working commuters of Bangalore are opting to pool their private cars with their colleagues and other travellers. Bangalorean’s embrace the trend from western countries where the impact of carpooling is huge.

Sumanth says traffic sucks! And driving nearly 15 miles every day manoeuvring metro constructions and traffic jams makes him more depressed. carpool will allow a break from the day-to-day fag from driving.
And adding to this his only buddy in traffic congestion was FM station. But after Gowthami joined him, they catch up with the latest gossips, new trend, share thoughts and experiences.
Now another commuter Manojna from Marathalli joins them occasionally and their chit-chats have become more fun and social, open to new opportunities in career and life.

The Bangalore resident, who is a big fan of carpooling says, when there are four persons in a car, someone can drive, and others can relax.
