The First Step

Second step

Third Step or Fertilisation
After harvesting the egg the doctor will ask your spouse for semen. After getting both the egg and semen sample your doctor will fertilise both in a petrie dish using an incubator which will generate the same temperature as the woman's body.

Transferring the embryo
Once the embryos are ready for transferring, between two and five days after fertilization, your doctor will use a tube to gently release the embryos into your uterus. This is a relatively painless procedure that doesn’t require any anesthesia. Your doctor may also choose to use an ultrasound to help guide the placement of the fertilized eggs into your uterus. If all goes well, then at least one egg will implant into your uterine lining.

Age - age is an important parameter to get pregnant using IVF procedure . As the age increases, the risk of infertility increases. Eggs in the younger age of the women are more productive than in older age. So the success rate of the IVF also varies with age of the women.
