Cheap Alloy Wheel Refurbishing From Diamond Alloys
Written by Paul Ewine
Diamond Alloys prides itself on refurbishing alloy wheels to a high specification, at a price point pitched at the average consumer. Convenience, quality and affordability are the watchwords of Diamond Alloys, who operate a 24 hour turnaround, a collection and delivery service and total refurbishments starting at just £65.
Diamond Alloys offers a variety of services like custom alloy wheels to cover our customer’s unique needs, all extremely competitively priced and guaranteed our top quality finish.
The standard refurbishment, priced at £65 + VAT, covers alloys up to 23”. This entails a deep cleaning process using an alloy wheel jet machine, which removes all dirt, grime and other build up from your alloy wheel, leaving it ready for the process of using abrasive discs to remove scratches or imperfections in the alloy. High quality paints are then matched and applied to the alloys for a consistent finish and Diamond Alloys has some of the best painters in the business, like 2008 young painter of the year Zak McLaughlin. Finally, the alloys are treated to a scratch-proof lacquer and a primer to prevent corrosion.
Diamond Alloys also offer a customized alloys package that comes at £75 + VAT. The team at the Diamond Alloys center has over 12 years of experience in working with alloys and will apply their expertise to tailor alloys to the individual customers’ exacting requirements. Customization features include metal flake, color coding to match your vehicle, glitter effects, glow in the dark finish and more.
There is also the Diamond Cut Alloys prestige service which will return a worn alloy to salesroom sheen for a wheel refurbishment cost of £110 + VAT. The state of the art alloy jet machine is used to clean the alloys, and then a lathe is used to make precision cuts on the surface of the alloy which creates a high quality shine finish. Because of how precise the Diamond Cut process is, less of the alloy is removed with each cut, allowing more cuts to be made for a better finish. After this, the alloys are coated with a scratch-proof lacquer and a primer to prevent corrosion. The whole process is finished off by a changing of the tires and making sure that the air pressure is correct for an all-around service.
