When you suffer from a chronic sinus infection, there is a huge chance of your life turning into a nightmare, particularly the chronic sinus pain . With all its symptoms which usually last for a long period of time, you can be easily drained of all your energy and will not be able to endure your daily activities. That is why it is critical to know the possible cause and symptoms for chronic sinusitis as this can help you fight the infection as soon as possible. The elements that can cause sinus infection can be easily found in your own home. A carpeted home can be easily infested with too much dust, pet dander and other irritants. Fungi and bacteria which can easily trigger an infection can be found in the garden or in other outside areas. Aside from that, the mall and your office can also be a good host to viruses which can easily be passed on by infected people to you. If you know all these, then you might feel uncomfortable and worry that you can never be safe from sinus infection, and that there is very little time left before you can experience chronic sinus pain . But what you need to understand is that, if you have enough knowledge about this kind of condition, then you can prepare yourself in dealing with such infection. You should not forget the chance that you might still be infected, but what is important is that; you can lessen the chance of occurrence if you know very well how to avoid its main causes. For a chronic sinus infection, the onset of the symptoms can usually last for a few weeks up to a few months, particularly the chronic sinus pain. In some cases, these symptoms can last even for several months and this can be very depressing, especially to those who need to work or to go to school, as this can really affect their lifestyle. The severity of the symptoms may vary depending on the person's immune system as well, and those who have stronger immune systems suffer from mild symptoms only. Chronic sinus pain and fatigue are the most common symptoms of chronic sinusitis, especially to those whose symptoms are severe. Other common symptoms usually include headache, runny nose, nasal congestion, difficulty in breathing and bad breath. On rare cases, facial swelling, sore throat, toothache and fever may be present as well. Treating these symptoms can help you relieve the worst of chronic sinus pain. Mucolytic, nasal decongestants and other pain relievers can help you get rid of these symptoms and relieve you from chronic sinus pain . Anti-fungal, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics and other types of medications can help you eliminate chronic sinus infection.
