Circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin, the tissue covering the glans of the penis. It has its origin in religious rites and is an ancient practice. The decision of doing circumcision is a personal one. It is a matter of family tradition or personal hygiene. Sometimes it is also done due to medical need such as when the foreskin is too tight to be pulled back.
Circumcision Treatment
Alisklamp device is used for circumcision. It is a new generation disposable device. It is a simple and safe procedure. In this general anesthesia is given. This device has two parts: Plastic Tube and Plastic Clamp. The plastic tube is placed over the penis and then the plastic clamp is applied on the tube over the foreskin, which strangulates the foreskin in a 360 degree round circular fashion. Extra skin is then removed by making a clean cut on it.
