Coaching, we don’t need no stinkin’ coach… in the old Humphrey Bogart classic, ‘The Treasure of the Sierra Madre’ some bandits pretending to be Federales have parnoid Fred C. Dobbs (Bogart) cornered at a gold mine he was mining.

Dobbs (Bogart), from behind the cover of a bolder, ask to see their badges and that is where a now infamous line, “badges, we don’t need no stinkin’ badges’ became the new line for not having something one really needs.

Coaching, We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Coach

Recently, I posted a question, in a lot of different places, I thought would get people interested in our coaching program called Manifestation Mentoring Program. The question did not get the response I expected because in my mind I assumed somethings others don’t have in there model of the world. I mistakenly assumed everyone understands they need a mentor or a coach and that everyone wants one.

So when I asked the question, “what are you going to manifest this month?”, thinking it would make people stop and realize they could really use a coach or a mentor, I missed it by a mile.

Goes to show you how often we think our map of reality is the same as everyone else’s, when in actuality the difference in the maps are so humongous you could drive ten eighteen wheeler’s side by side between them.

That doesn’t make either map wrong or right, just different maps we navigate life with.

A couple of things that surprised me and my model of the world was that a lot of the places I asked the question, ”what are you going to manifest this month?”, go no response at all. Maybe, I could have asked, “what do you plan to accomplish this month?” and gotten some responses.

As someone who does a lot of mentoring and coaching the answers that people did post showed it was clear they had no coaching input or direction even though their answers seemed heartfelt and sincere. However, no matter how heartfelt and sincere a want or a desire is if it does not have certain characteristics it will never move from energy to matter. In other words it will not be manifested.

You can tell by the responses these are not new goals or desires and that the time limit of 30 days (a month) wasn’t really considered in the answer. The responses were not bad responses. They were simply lacking some basic criteria.

As an example, when most people answer the question, “what are you going to manifest/achieve this month?”, they do not have a time limit set for manifesting or accomplishing something. So asking the question with a time limit on it is usually a new concept.

People often think they can manifest something and yet without a time frame there is no way to calibrate (i.e. measure) progress or lack there of and if you can’t measure there is no way you can make any adjustments and without calibrating and making adjustments you can’t walk from one room of your house to another, you can’t drive to the store to get groceries and you can’t prepare food for yourself.

In fact without the skills of calibrating and adjusting you can’t do anything. The reason you need a mentor or coach is because of the ole’ “you can’t see the forest for the trees” syndrome, except it is in reverse, you are missing the trees because the forest is in the way.

One of the biggest reasons people who are successful are so successful is they have a mentor or a coach that helps them with the process of moving a desire or a want into an actual physical manifested experience.

Another reason it is very useful to have a mentor/coach that knows what it takes, is because your first answers to the question are always abstracts and abstracts have very little motivation power and zero inspiration power behind them, so there is almost zero chance they will become reality.

In the right manifestation mentoring program you learn not only how to calibrate and make adjustments, you also learn the skill of moving what you thought was a good goal to manifest from an abstract into the most exciting, powerful, inspirational, energy experience so that your manifestations seem like the most natural and easy things to do.

It is more than the S.M.A.R.T. goal system a lot of coaching programs teach…

S – Specific

M -Measurable

A – Attainable/Assignable

R – Realistic/Rewarding

T – Timeable/Tangible

… it far exceeds this standard by moving it into place where it all can become second nature.

It does not matter what business you are in, every true professional has a mentor/coach, not only to help them get to the level of success but also to maintain and increase their successes.

If you really truly want to be a success, if it is more than just a good idea, then it is pretty much a necessity to get into a mentoring/coaching program, if only for three or four months to learn the actual skills needed to manifest what you want.

When you are in a good mentoring/coaching program you can begin the process of manifesting something good that you want each and every month. How does that sound to you, a manifestation a month? That would feel good, wouldn’t it?
